The cool breeze. The crystal clear horizon. The deep blues and greens of Cape Cod Bay. Truro in September–what a beautiful place to be!
It’s hard to believe September is upon us again already, but summer is indeed slipping away after a busy and beautiful season. I’m planning one of the last aerial photography flights before the leaves begin to change. Seems like a good time to look back at some of this summer’s favorite aerial photos. Included in this gallery are sites in Chatham, Falmouth, Marstons Mills, Mashpee, Osterville, Provincetown, Sandwich, Wareham, Yarmouth, Rochester, and Martha's Vineyard.
Busy is good, but sometimes busy gets in the way. Specifically, busy got in the way of keeping up with my regular monthly Greatest Hits posts. Rather than posting three separate months of architectural photography (very much after the fact), I've combined them all into one gallery for the second quarter of this year. Included in this collection are properties in Chatham, Dennis, Falmouth, Marion, Mashpee, Mattapoisett, Osterville, Rochester, Pocasset, and Sandwich.
It's been a brutal month here in Southern New England, but I did manage to get a few projects done.
Only because I'm hiding behind my computer screen (where you cannot hit me with a snowball) am I willing to admit that I've really, really enjoyed all of the snow this winter.
Personally, I'd much rather look out the window at a bright and snowy scape than a dead, brown memory of greenery past.
Professionally, this weather is killing me. Scheduling is difficult. Driving is a challenge. And walking on the grounds of abandoned-for-the-winter summer homes can be downright dangerous.
The good news is, we are only 21 (snowy) days until Spring. Let's just hope Mother Nature checks her calendar.
Thank goodness for all of this snow in New England! The weather has given me time to put the finishing touches on this website. Everything is shiny and new--new look, new portfolios, new blog, new print shop. It's all very exciting and I'm glad you stopped by to check it out!
While we wait for Mother Nature to begin the slow thaw of spring, I offer you this memory of a sunny day in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
